This report lists agencies that have groundwater management plans
that have been adopted either pursuant to different sections of the
Water Code, or as a result of a court decision. The contents of the
plans vary considerably in their specificity and complexity. These
lists of agencies provide an understanding of groundwater management
in California that is invaluable when considering future
water management options.
